Simply put, in our context, adherence means observing and complying with rules and framework conditions. Basically, ensuring adherence is equivalent to compliance.

In principle, the following blocks can be defined in our context:

  • Process Adherence
  • Content Adherence

Process adherence is a very specific and quite complex topic that we will not deal with in this book. We focus here on content adherence. You will probably spontaneously think of terms like KAIZEN® or Six Sigma®. However, we will not deal with this in detail here. We want to approach the issue pragmatically.

With content adherence, we want our investment in setting up the buying channels and the associated content to bear fruit. But how the hell do you achieve this?
